Taking Liberty’s
Made 40 small works for Taking Liberty’s pop up shop at the Treatment rooms in Acton on the 3rd of december. They are 22cm by 28cm spray paint on aluminum sheet and all come with a C.O.A. and will be on sale for a depression busting £40, all the works are unique and signed. I will also be producing an special edition of the Mao ZeDollar in a striking colourway that will be exclusive to the show edition of 10. You can check out the £40 works that will be featured in the show here.
Some of the works on sale below.
You must be Barking!
So it’s taken a month, but the building tools are all safely packed away, the desk is clear and a new era of making stuff beckons. Its been a long hard slog but the effort was worth it, Quite a change from the space its was.
Moving further east has its bonuses but Barking is an odd place, new developments stand by derelict parades of shops, there are plenty of wide open spaces and you can tell you’re approaching the edge of London. Barking creek’s a crumbling beauty with a history of fish and sewage its an industrial waterway untouched by the usual waterfront developments (for now).
Just look at all that canvas!
Year 6 Shacklewell Primary School
Carrie Reichardt sent me one of these beautiful tag angels in solid brass.
Joy’s first wall
May is a big month in my house, after attack of the killer noni in the garden, work starts on replacing the jasmine in the back garden for joys 6th birthday. Faced with a large cinder block wall Joy and i decided to decorate it.
Joy painted most of it with the bits out of reach being painted by myself.
