Indigo gets up…Before & After

‘Indigo gets up…Before’ & ‘…After’ .The latest in the Rude Kids series.The characters in the Rude Kids series are friends and family, all under 12 and simply too nice to ‘flip the bird’ or vandalise your walls. With teenage years looming, those days are just round the corner; for now, these kids are still too sweet and without the angst to convincingly pull it off. The series captures these kids while they’re still just ‘rude kids’.

This edition includes three colour ways of ‘Indigo’, with two versions: a ‘Before’ she tags the Mona Lisa and an ‘After’. Opinion was split as to which one we liked best, so we thought we’d leave it to you, in these low edition size series of prints.

There will be a pre-sale today the 11th of August where we will sell 3 from each colourway both the before and after, a total of 18 of the prints. The rest being sold at 58 neal street in seven dials, Covent Garden London at saturday the 15th of August any not sold on the day will be offered online on the 17th of august.

Reed projects

I know it’s all a bit late but the reason to write it up is so i can remember where and what the hell i have been doing over the last few months…to be honest it’s been a bit of a blur.
Old friend and collaborator Martyn Reed invited me to Stavanger to do a show at his gallery Reed Projects.There is work available from the show on their online gallery here

Stock room clear out

I’m never the best organised person, the next thing is always upon me before i have truly finished the last. Prints and stuff tend to get buried under the new work and certain plan chest drawers are rarely looked in as i rarely have time to open those cans of worms.

But forces have conspired and constant nagging from some quarters have made me go through the lot and has turned up a few surprises. I have put the bulk of what i have found up in the shop on the site. There are odd colour ways that have never seen the light of day. Whole editions that have been forgotten or mislaid as well as some current stock that has, up until now been sold through galleries that i have exhibited at.

I have also put up the remainder of the ‘Crime o fashion’ tees from the last show.

Over the coming months i will dig a little deeper and see what else i’ve overlooked, but thats enough for now.

Buzzcocks ‘The way’ Album print

blk_signed_smI’ve had a close relationship with The Buzzcocks since working with them on their 30th anniversary tour in 2006, creating visuals for their tour and designing the cover for their live album. When they announced that they were releasing a new album, it was a good opportunity to collaborate again and I’ve created the artwork for The Way, released this month.
To celebrate the launch of the album, I used the stencil to create a fine art print on 250grm Reeves off-white paper, with a single silk-screen print. There is a small edition of prints signed by The Buzzcocks, and a run of 76 (the year they started)  as a edition of prints signed by me. you can find them in the Shop link in the menu above

I should Coco

Well it’s here, the much requested and much against my better judgement; a whopping 9 colour bloody silkscreen,  yep thats right 9! And not just 9 pulls, oh no! That would just be tooooo easy, there’s in excess of 15 pulls in this print. It’s been printed by those lovely guys at K2. Entitled “I should Coco” its an edition of 50 on 250gsm white Somerset paper, signed and embossed, made in collaberation with Reed Projects gallery in Stavanger. Mail them if you want one, but i think its being released primarily to visitors to the gallery on the 9th of November.

A Boy

Its summer and from mid way through this month i’m rarely in the studio till after Nuart in October. So i thought i’d release the last print from a batch of printing that was done over the winter. You may remember it from Robin Hood Tax posts from before.

They are an 2 colour Edition of 43 on 300 gsm arches 88

TOY print release….finally

So finally here is the TOY print, much delayed and with an entire miss print run in between. 5 colour silkscreen on 300 gsm arches 88 cotton rag 56x76cm hand finished with a roller and red acrylic paint. Its a slightly smaller edition of 41 rather than the 50 previously stated, but the price is still the same £80.

Postage and packing is £20 which sounds steep but each print comes double tubed and trackable, the extra weight of the tube system adding to the postage.   These things are post proof, there is nothing worse than getting something that has been smashed up in transit is there. Those within the UK will receive there prints with royal mails next day delivery, outside the UK will be sent Royal Mail Airsure. You can buy there here.


All come blind stamped signed and numbered with an accompanying C.O.A
