It’s been a hard week, 16 hour days in the wind and the rain, and all too seldom the sun. After 3 days helping Ben Eine in Bergen (traditionally the wettest city on the west coast) in the blazing sunshine, i was hopeful that Stavanger would deliver the same. WRONG! The building above is the Lervig brewery, yes i got given the keys of a brewery and painted a bloody wall. Talk about couldn’t organise a piss up in a… Mike, the master brewer even offered me use of the company fridge! Hard to get enthusiastic for getting drunk in the rain 8m in the air in a cherry picker…..DAM. Dodging raindrops the size of 50mm shells meant working through the night, in the vain hope that the forecasts were right. WRONG! But its nearly there and i”ve only a day more tweaking and introducing some stencil elements. The still above is from Martin Hawks, (Saft films) during the week he road tested some new camera equipment out and produced some stunning time lapse (with a difference!!) . He must of shot 1000’s of frames and each nights brought its own weather logistics, cameras don’t seem to like the rain much either. But wait till you see it…..beautifully filmed. Thanks to Carl for the shots below…again stunning, and of course the Nuart crew, and Reed productions for setting the whole thing up.

Ischgl deer
Crazy night last night with maxi and heinz drinking at pasha, decided at 2.30 am to hit some walls in the resort, -12 C half cut on tequilla with the cans sticking to my hands. I realised then why there is so little graffiti in the town. More shots to follow when I finally get home, snowed out of gatwick and getting bored of innsbruck airport.
Peace angel tunnel
What a day! What a place! Painting with Daim and Loomit today!!! Heroes of mine and painting at the same place and same time, it couldn’t get better, ok it could be summer, not -1, not snowing but other than the chapped lips and cold toes, it rocked! This Tunnel is amazing, work by flying fortress guesting Akut’s eye, Loomit, Daim a shit load of the best guys you could ask for, will get a full list tomorrow.
managed a few walls, you will have to excuse the poor photography from my blackberry, better shots to come tomorrow, too late, too tired and too cold.
the Tunnel is well worth a visit if your in Munich. All works look set to ride for a year or so, they are all protected with that dam anti graffiti wax that stops us touching things. Never had so many people stop to talk about a zone, reminded me of nuart in a way, a lot of love for this tunnel in this town.
Munchen tunnel
Landed in Munchen this afternoon, went to the ghostyard paint shop where they raided their own personal stash for some shades they didn’t have on the shelves and went to visit where i am painting tomorrow.
Its a cool cycle tunnel by the river isar the tunnel has been curated by loomit and its looking great, Its a stroke of luck to get into this cool spot! Most of the artists have painted their walls with only loomit and myself left to paint. Theirs snow on the ground and its bloody cold, but tomorrow looks set to be a day of foot stamping and hand clapping spraying….cant wait. More photos to follow.
Call for walls
Off to Munich to paint some stuff but need a few more walls, any walls considered, let me know via the contact form on this site. I will be painting the recent Man machine stuff, should be some test sprays up here over the next few days. Bavarians lend me your walls.
Random Weekend
It was a whistle stop tour of East and West Sussex this weekend. Ted and Claire’s in Haywards Heath, for a messed up night in the nicest tent i have ever not stayed in, then Poynings for a visit to Grange farm, fun wasps and a swiming pool and then onto Sam Haggerty’s pikey camp for a celebration of final planning permission on the workshops in the wood. Allot of different places and people with one mission, to stay up all night and talk nonsense (check the photo for confirmation of it)
