It’s been a crazy couple of weeks making work for several shows. First off the bat is LA show opens 24th of April, at LAB art. A week later a small pop up show in Miami details to follow later in the week. Meanwhile at Stroke art fair in Munich long time collaborators Widewalls take a stand showing Dotmaster works from The Widewalls Collection as well as a special exhibition ‘Photographie München’; an installation by Brazilian artist Ale Jordao; the black-light artist Lukas Fertsch; and an on-site tattoo studio.

‘ABOVE THE RAIL’ The White Canvas Project comes to Cheshire street!
On Thursday Beyond Retro’s Cheshire St store will host the highly acclaimed ‘White canvas project’ in association with fashion-lifestyle brand Supremebeing.
This exciting and energetic exhibition will see an array of captivating pieces of art created by : Pinky / Will Barras / Jim Vision / Mr Penfold / Sheryo / The Yok / Mr Hicks / Neist / Grossmary / HoldyourTongue / Dotmasters / Stendec / DrZadok / Elfin / Mateus Bailon and Guy McKinley. who will work on canvases made from Beyond Retro clothing, stretched cut and sew denim, patchwork fabrics, over a period of five days. The ‘Art Jam’ as this has so famously become known worldwide will run from the 2nd July within a custom made studio at Beyond Retro- Dalston. Once complete all pieces will be hung ‘Above the Rails’ for public view and purchase in the engaging setting of our east London store for a unique exhibition on the 11th July from 5-9pmwhere they will be beautifully displayed amongst similar items of which the canvases were created.
Plans are afoot for a very silly night out in the Rejects gallery on the 9th of November. A glamourous night of trashed is guaranteed, they’ll be rewards for those who either come dressed ‘High Class’ or ‘Trash’, that is… pikey or posh to those in the know. Evening gowns and shell suits, prada or drinking trainers the choice is yours! The night see’s a number of Dotmaster themes re visited trash/glamour stick. Available on the night from the gallery the much requested Chanel print, A2 (594 x 420 mm) 250g somerset white paper with 9 colour silkscreen print.
