Someone gave me a load of Time Out Banksy posters, so i had to have a go, didn’t i? Especially after the Cans posters a few years ago. Seemed a shame not too. Spray paint on Lithographic poster 68cm x 51 cm. Got 20 of them so there may be some more versions… buy them here
Initially this was half cut for the Diet Life work last year. Only half of the Dollar was needed in the composition, and as it took days to cut, a bloody good reason was needed to finish this finger destroying thing off. At last the reason was found and i finished this stencil off for the center piece of a commissioned work in Victoria, London.

So…Here’s your first chance to watch “Eloquent Vandals” the film about the Nuart’s festival 2008. Half an hour long and made with a hell of allot of good will. Its not a bad snapshot of what happens at Nuart (if you ignore the horrid lies that i break our artists noses). Any how you can watch it Monday January 31st at 10.00 GMT at the brooklynite gallery site. The film was directed and shot and lit by Martin Hawkes with myself conducting all the interviews and doing the sound . There is a fantastic soundtrack by Nick smith and the whole thing was put together at Saft films under the watchful eye of Mr Nuart himself Martyn Reed. Its worth a look and features footage of Nuart 2007 plus in depth interviews and a general look and feel at what we do at Nuart. There are lots of free give aways available on the day so turn on, tune in, and Get up!

At Last, its taken months, but the capture series is finished. Nine 40x 40 cm canvases that depict cultural cctv moments from a London centric perspective. “The CCTV camera is the perfect icon for Britain today, summing up the nature of the changing relationship between civil society and political state. They are an innovation in which Britain leads the world both technologically and in usage and are the visible manifestation of so many things which happen out of sight. 110 x 80cm A pair of canvases produced for two charity auctions, The White Ball at the end of January and the Haven House Childrens Hospice auction at Dreweatts in March. A pair of almost identical twins for a pair of deserving childrens charities.
